The philosophy of the undergraduate physiology programme is to train students in the theory and practice of applied physiology to make such graduates suitable to utilize the basic knowledge for future problem solving and other applications as in Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, etc. This programme is essentially geared towards addressing the paucity of qualified academics, researchers and professionals in all specialties of physiology, particularly human physiology.
