ABOUT COMPUTER SCIENCE DEPARTMENT

On behalf of the department, I wish to welcome you and congratulate you for being a member of this great department and university. This handbook is provided to you to serve as a guide to you throughout your stay in this department. It will be an important companion for you in that it provides some key information which will help you realize your dreams and enable you graduate successfully. I encourage you to take your studies very serious, obey the rules and regulations of the university and be of good behavior and character, make good use of the resources you have including your lecturers, good friends, internet facilities, computer lab, library, and the sport facilities, shun all examination misconduct and all other things that might affect your studies including drug abuse, cultism, bad friends etc. It’s my hope that you will find this handbook helpful. I wish you God’s guidance, protection and successful stay in this department and the university. The philosophy of BSc. Computer Science program is to produce esteem graduates that can be self-reliant and use their skills of IT and computing in the advancement of knowledge and to the development and growth of humanity.
