The Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Kebbi State Council, has inaugurated the newly elected executives of its Federal University Birnin Kebbi (FUBK) Chapter.
The ceremony, held on Saturday, 5 September 2026, at the SLH 2 Lecture Theatre, University Main Campus, was attended by University officials, members of the Society, students and other guests.
Speaking at the occasion, the Permanent Secretary, Kebbi State Ministry of Religious Affairs, Dr. Nasir Abubakar Kigo, congratulated the executives and urged them to promote unity, discipline, academic excellence and sound moral values among Muslim students.
He also advised them to abide by University rules and maintain effective collaboration with the relevant authorities.
The MSSN Kebbi State Council charged the executives to provide responsible leadership and uphold the objectives and ideals of the Society.
Responding on behalf of the chapter, the Amir, Abdulbasit Muhammad, a 300-level BNSc. Nursing student, appreciated the Council and other stakeholders for their confidence and pledged the chapter's commitment to discharging its responsibilities.
The ceremony ended with prayers for the success of the executives and the continued progress of MSSN and the University.
