The Federal University Birnin Kebbi (FUBK) on Wednesday, 6th August 2025 received the Management of Khalifa Isyaka Rabi'u University, Kano (KHAIRUN) on a courtesy visit to the institution. The visit, held at the University Council Chamber, was characterized by an atmosphere of warmth, mutual respect, and reflection.
The delegation, led by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council of Khalifa Isyaka Rabi'u University, Professor Kabiru Isyaku, was received by the Vice-Chancellor of FUBK, Professor Muhammad Zaiyan Umar, alongside other principal officers of the University.
In his remarks, Professor Kabiru Isyaku expressed appreciation for the warm hospitality extended to his team. He commended FUBK's commitment to promoting both educational advancement and moral values, urging the leadership to remain resolute in their pursuit of academic excellence. He also prayed for continued peace, unity, and progress within the University.
Responding, the Vice-Chancellor of FUBK, Prof. Muhammad Zaiyan Umar, thanked the management of Khalifa Isyaka Rabi'u University for the honour of the visit. He described the occasion as historic and symbolic of friendship and collaboration, noting that the presence of the visitors brought blessings and inspiration to the FUBK community.
In his speech, the Vice-Chancellor of KHAIRUN, Professor AbdulRashid Garba, said the visit was part of his university's effort at enhancing collaboration and linkages with the sister university. Highlights of the visit included the exchange of souvenirs by the two institutions.
