The Office of the Registrar, Admissions Unit, Federal University Birnin Kebbi (FUBK), has released the approved programme cut-off marks for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The schedule covers all 37 undergraduate programmes offered by the University, setting a separate threshold for each of the three admission categories: Merit, Educationally Less Developed States (ELDS) and Catchment.
Medicine & Surgery carries the highest requirement at 250 on merit, followed by 240 for ELDS and 230 for catchment candidates. Nursing/Nursing Science follows at 230, 220 and 210 respectively.
A band of programmes requires 200 on merit, including Anatomy, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Microbiology, Physiology and Political Science.
Accounting, Architecture, Building Technology, Business Administration and Quantity Surveying each require 190 on merit, 180 for ELDS and 170 for catchment, while Economics requires 180, Sociology 170, and Biology, English Language and Physics with Electronics 160.
A large number of programmes are pegged at the 150 floor across all three categories. These include Applied Geophysics, Business Education, Chemistry, Demography & Social Statistics, Geography, Geology, History & International Studies, Industrial Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Educational Admin. & Planning and the Education combined programmes in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, English Language, Geography, Mathematics and Physics.
