FUBK CONVOCATION: MTECH UNIVERSAL CONCEPTFELICITATES WITH UNIVERSITY, HONOUREES
The Managing Director of MTECH Universal Concepts and Construction Company Limited, Archtect Manir Musa Jega, has congratulated the management of Federal University Birnin Kebbi (FUBK) on its 1st-5th convocation ceremony. Archtect Jega also extended congratulations to notable recipients of honorary doctorate degrees, including former Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Saidu Usman Dakingari, renowned businessman Dr. Muhammad Indimi, Leo Stan Ekeh, and Ambassador Abubakar Muhammad Sani.
In a statement released on Tuesday in Birnin Kebbi, Architect Jega applauded the university for organizing the convocation ceremony, which allowed graduands to collect their certificatesimmediately. This, he noted, would greatly aid timely employment opportunities or further education. Jega commended the university council, board, and staff for their foresight in combining five sets of graduands from 2017/2018 to 2021/2022. He expressed delight in FUBK’s growth, highlighting its five faculties and College of Health Sciences, as well as the impending commencement of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Law programs.
Impressed by the university’s postgraduate school, established in 2022, Jega urged private individuals and organizations to invest in FUBK through enrollment, infrastructure development, or donations. As the founder of MTECH Education Foundation, which supports orphans, vulnerable, and less privileged children, Jega shared the foundation’s achievements. “We’ve enrolled many vulnerable children in FUBK and other universities, such as Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, ABU Zaria, and BUK Kano,” said the statement.
“Recently, the foundation screened over 2,000 beneficiaries from six local government areas (Birnin Kebbi, Kalgo, Jega, Aliero, Gwandu, and Maiyama) and is currently processing their university admissions. “We’re uploading their O-level results online for those who were successfully screened,” Jega explained. MTECH Education Foundation remains committed to collaborating with FUBK and encouraging others to invest in the university’s growth,” he added.
