NIGERIAN INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS VISITS FUBK, CONFER AWARD OF EXCELLENCE ON THE VICE CHANCELLOR

The Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) has bestowed upon the Vice Chancellor of FUBK Prof. Muhammad Zaiyan Umar of Federal University Birnin Kebbi an award of excellence, in recognition of his remarkable strides towards the advancement of the University.

The award was presented to the Vice Chancellor on Wednesday, the 15th of November, 2023, during the Annual General Meeting/ Conference and 21stAnniversary celebration of the Kebbi State Chapter of the Institute in Birnin Kebbi. Wile presenting the award to the VC, Enyi Ben-Eboh, the National President of NIA, described Prof. MZ Umar’ s accomplishments in elevating the University within a notably brief duration as profoundly impressive.

He commended the outstanding development of the University and encouraged the Vice Chancellor and his Management team to sustain the momentum.

Upon receiving the award, the VC who was represented by the Registrar, Abubakar Aliyu, expressed gratitude to the Institute for the recognition and assured that the award would serve as a motivation to work for further advancement of the University.

He acknowledged the Institute’s efforts and expertise in promoting impeccable standards in building construction and its unwavering consistency in doing so.
