NUC GRANTS WUFPBK APPROVAL TO COMMENCE FUBK AFFILIATED DEGREE PROGRAMMES

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted approval to Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic Birnin Kebbi to commence seven (7) degree programmes affiliated to Federal University Birnin Kebbi. This was sequel to assessment visits to the Polytechnic by the NUC officials in July, 2024 to assess the manpower available to run the programmes.

The Programmes are B.Sc Accounting, B.Sc Business Administration, B.Sc Microbiology and B.Sc Statistics. The rest are: B.Sc Computer Science, B.Sc Architecture and B.Sc Building.

FUBK Bulletin reports that the programmes would take off in the 2024/2025 academic session.
