Our mission is geared towards the development of entrepreneurship skills and knowledge in FUBK students and the surrounding community, by supporting and empowering them to be creators of wealth and in extension empowering the whole community in an attempt to alleviate poverty.
The vision of the center is to equip the mind set of FUBK graduates entrepreneurially with an ultimate aim to make them self reliant and contribute in the development of nation socio-economic and human development.
Leadership
Prof Isa Garba Abor - Director
Experienced and passionate Mathematics Lecturer with over twenty-nine years of experience in lecturing, teaching and mentoring students with different backgrounds. Dedicated team leader with the ability to effectively manage and achieve project goals, leveraging complex pure mathe-matics concepts to the understanding of almost every student. Pioneered the establishment of an effective University Results Management System, (as the director of exams and registration at the Federal University Birnin Kebbi), standard staff multipurpose cooperative society as well as an excellent pre-degree School of Basic Studies. Headed several university committees and su- pervised more than 200 undergraduate projects and over 40 postgraduates’ thesis/dissertations to completion. Bringing forth a proven track record of effectively researching and analyzing busi- ness processes and procedures and designing and implementing business solutions especially for cooperative societies. Spearheaded and won several grands ( NNPC-EIA/EBA, NIRSAL-EDI,) while others are ongoing in TetFAIR and the CBN TIES.
Dr Abubakar Shinkafi - Deputy Director
I am a consultant, researcher, experienced academic and PhD holder in the field of Information Systems, with over 17 years’ experience in the domain of Information Technology (IT) and Information Systems Management (IS).
My expertise falls under the umbrella of human–computer interaction. I bring a unique blend of academic expertise and practical industry experience. With a passion for driving digital transformation and optimizing business processes, my PhD thesis explored the use, adoption and implementation of digital technologies in society.
I am a versatile professional who can lead digital transformation initiatives, deliver impactful projects, and contribute to research at the forefront of technology, business, innovation and governance.

TETFund Alliance for Innovative Research (TETFAIR)
Tetfund Alliance for Innovative Research (TETFAIR) FUBK EDC qualified and won a competition organized by Tetfund in collaboration with Innov 8 ICT hub where the center developed an agricultural drone technology that chases birds off the farm. The drone has been launched and it is currently in use for farmers in Kebbi State.

Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Scheme (TIES)
The Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) developed the Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Scheme (TIES), in partnership with the academia( Universities and Polytechnics) to unleash the potential of the Nigeria graduate entrepreneurs (gradpreneurs) by providing re-orientation, training and an innovative financing model that will enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem with transformational impact on the economy.

Agri-Business/Small and Medium Enterprise Investment Scheme (AGSMEIS)
The Agri-Business/Small and Medium Enterprise Investment Scheme is an initiative to support the Federal Government's efforts and policy measures for the promotion of agricultural businesses and small/medium enterprises (SMEs) as vehicles for sustainable economic development and employment generation.
